So, she was dealing with the aftermath of the rape for about 5 chapters, which is nearly a third of the story. Since you focus so much on this, and then have Everett and Savannah get married, should she have told him at some point?

Especially after they get engaged, not having her tell him seems really strange.

It was also quite difficult to tell what point in time the story was. I would be reading, then all of a sudden it's 6 months or so in the future. You should make it more obvious so the reader doesn't get confused.

I thought that the general story was well put together, but the time gaps in the plot were a bit hard to follow. I don’t know that I find Everett’s radical changes in behavior believable without more filler info on how he actually falls in love with Savy. Also, it would be nice to just get more info on who these people are and what makes them tick, so to speak. You explain some about Savy’s living situation and the trauma behind it, but I think you could further emphasize it somehow.
That all being said, I immensely enjoyed your story and I hope you continue to work on it!

I really liked this story! It is different from your other stories (much shorter, too!), but I can still see similar aspects that remind me it's one of your stories. It's a great story!

i like this chapter and it seems savannah had a lot to overcome and is a lot better though it seems both your characters remind me of katie and lucas and i guess their mannerisms like it seemed to close to it but still pretty good chapter.
and how exactly did katie and lucas come about with the nicknames dawson and harvey for each other.

I've really loved reading your work. I've followed your pieces for quite a while. You are one of the best writers on this site, in my opinion.
I think what I like best in you stories is how you make the people easy to identify with. Your characters are like real people, they have faults and issues that make them who they are. And this makes the stories a real work of art, because, in my opinion, no art is perfect unless there are some flaws. I don't know if that philosophy makes any sense to anyone else, but at the very least I really do enjoy your work.
