i loved this! the way luke thinks is totally adorable and hilarious. it's supposed to be lighthearted and fun, and it totally achieves that. i agree with you on the whole jaw-dropping epiphany bit, totally overdone and boring. this was sweeter and more sincere, in a way.

maybe write an epilogue? three years later or something? marriage? i dunno. i just like these characters )

Your plot is good and all but the way you write it... Hmm... It's just that, there's too many thoughts.. like your characters always have the attention span of a gnat or something. Although it many be endearing sometimes, sometimes it's just... crazy disorganized?

But I really like your plots and your interesting characters. Just try to hold back your details a little and it'll be better I think.

Tahnk you so mcuh for this story... I was super stressing out over my english exam tomorrow and this was the perfect way to take my mind off of it. Great story!

WHAT a character. It's so much fun reading about a character who is perfect and flawed at the same time. You had me laughing out loud with his cute little random commentary and that last line, pure gold. You don't find me loving down-right self-centred, I-think-I'm-God guys, but you just cannot help it with Luke. It's so refreshing to read about an arrogant guy who is ACTUALLY arrogant, not like the perfect, misunderstood type of heroes.

The only issue I had was although his need to constantly reassure himself and everyone around him that he was badass was hilarious, in some parts, it was a little overdone. Like he'd say something and add, 'because I'm badass', which I think is not really needed because you've already beautifully introduced his character as a self-loving try-hard (in a good way).

Other than that, I think it was a mighty enjoyable read!
