As a legal nihilist, I am required to point out that the fact of this essay's existence negates the truth of its title.

Wow... That was, to say the least, powerful. Honestly, when I clicked on this, I was expecting something comical, mainly because when I was in about 5th or 6th grade I grabbed a book that had a similar description, but it was about a tween girl and her first crush.

So I was not expecting this in the least. o.o;

But I was PLEASANTLY surprised. It was a very interesting look at our culture and how we view even our fellow citizens.
I loved the incorporation of religion because race isn't the only thing we are judged by. Almost every day I hear a joke about Jewish bankers.

"The Italian evokes the forgotten memory of Rome." - Personally I think of spaghetti... But I know many girls who want to date an Italian and see Rome with him... Although a lot of these girls can't tell the difference between an Italian and a Brazilian.

"The German struggles to climb above the tombstone of Hitler." - Isn't that true. I've yet to visit Germany, but I did go to Hiroshima recently and after I returned, I was met with criticism for sympathizing with the victims of the atomic bomb. Different cultures, but same struggle. Not every German supported Hitler and yet we associate Germans with him...

Overall, I am one of the European mutts that's mentioned at the end. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel as if the Aryan is meant to symbolize that no matter how hard we try, differences will always separate us and they will always be a thorn in our side.

Your story was very short but POWERFUL. You have a talent for delivering a strong message in just a few short sentences. That's amazing. You. Have. Uber. Talent.

Everyone's allowed to have a heritage except white people, everyone else can be PROUD of their heritage except white people. And people can flame me too if what I say ** them off, it's the truth. The only group who is taught from the time they are born to the time they die to absolutely FEEL ASHAMED for who they are, it's us white people.
