Wrath of Cthulu 2009-11-10 . chapter 1 Shut up, Fiddlesticks. You're totally in love with him. It's a man-crush.
I love the phrase 'social dogma'. It makes so much sense and I have never heard it before. I can see this whole poem being made into a stop-animation film with clay sheeple shuffling past, dead eyes staring at the ground, and a clay Zen there on the sidelines mouthing the words to the poem in disgust. |
der fiddlesticks 2009-10-28 . chapter 1When you stop and stand in silence among the decaying masses, do you ever just want to start crunching skulls? I mean, I would turn to rage instead of despair. You're a bigger man than I am, that much I can say. But I knew that from the first poem I read by you. I'm not all in love with you or anything, but man you rock. |
Lady Despair 2009-10-20 . chapter 1 I can't even begin to describe what this makes me feel. You have captured the human plight so eloquently I actually cried. I too wish to just stop walking this endless decrepit trail into the vast machine of society. It is a difficult leap to take when so bound to this system of living. But are we really living or, as you say, have we grown comfortable with merely surviving? I have deemed this poem a favorite. Your outspokenness and beautiful word play is breathtaking. |
The Gentle Troubadour 2009-09-30 . chapter 1You may be the only person on this site other than myself who knows what 'doldrums' are. This poem presents a picture of the man who has taken himself out of the great drama of life because he has tired of the inanity of it all, the sameness of the roles. It moves me and at the same time horrifies me by its truth. |
