Wrath of Cthulu 2009-11-10 . chapter 1 Zen Phoenix will never die. He will just write himself immortal. So completely different from all the other drops, all the other writers out there. Finding this site was the best thing I ever stumbled upon. |
der fiddlesticks 2009-10-28 . chapter 1This one moved me too and I don't mean my bowels, man. Hi Lady Despair. You sound hot.
This poem is full of lines that are a punch in the gut, especially "No different in overview from all the other drops". God, I know what you mean. I really KNOW. |
Lady Despair 2009-10-20 . chapter 1 It's seldom that I read something that moves me as much as this poem. When you speak of being that singular drop of rain among the multitudes, I feel overcome with the understanding of my own mortality and this life that continues to recycle itself again and again. We are just part of that cycle and as cognitive beings it is difficult to accept that there is nothing more to us then frail finite matter. I think the title has summed this up beautifully because moments are all that we really are in the universal eye. Your writing never ceases to amaze me! |
The Gentle Troubadour 2009-09-30 . chapter 1This defines human life, really. I think it's because of our transitory nature that we are so precious and so wonderful. Call me a naive idiot, but I think that if we all lived forever, life would be less bright. |
