Simple, and moving. :D

It's a very short poem, but it's still good. It sort of rhymes..lol...well to me that is. & of course, I like it!

I really like how the alternating lines can be read as a dialogue or a monologue:

I had to this / we weren't meant to be/ I was breaking your heart

with the response

But I'll always love you / I should have told you / But I felt the same way

and that it all ends: As I watched you walk away. I don't know why that struck me as somehow exactly how I felt when a relationship of mine ended, and I just silently stood and took it thinking those lines you have in italics - and even though I never said the words aloud, we ended up in the same place, walking away.

Does that even make sense? ;-) What I'm trying to say is: You moved me.
