A nice interpretetation of the Beatitudes through a modern perspective. Indeed, it does seem some of things Jesus tells us in this famous passage are against our materialistic Culture in which we want fast answers, quick riches and self glamorizing fame above everything else. What Christ teaches us here is the most basic staples of the good humanity, and it most certainly can exist in our modern day context, and has been for a while.

Arent these wonderful truths to understand. I hear them time after time but still managed to be amamzed at the truth of God's Word and what He has for us to learn.I think it'd do us(Christians in general) good to write about what we read more often. Its good to dwell and really try to understand what it is the Bible is saying, rathe rthen just skim thru it. Again, praying for you.

God also likes people who can spell and who are grammatically correct. So, if you want God to love you, you should rewrite this so that it is understandable.
