This sounds like it will be an interesting story. I liked the first picture, especially the caption: "Iolyn wasn't a scientist or an architect, but he was fairly certain that when you opened a door, something was supposed to be behind it." Hysterical.

I think I could relate to kids like the artist and the writer. If I can't do surrealism, then I have to do something realistic. Totally understand.

Oh, November! So close and yet so far!

Have you read the Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony? It's older, from the 80's, but it's about things like Death, Nature, Fate, War, Time, etc. And it's all just offices that get taken by regular, everyday people. It's so fascinating. I'm in book 4/5, and they are really quick reads with really sweet romances and great perspective. Totally recommend it, if you've got some free time.
