i'm loving this so far, especially the relationship between the two, but the names seem familiar to me... i feel like i've come across them in your stories before? that and the way you seem to start the story almost in the middle of a situation makes me really wish i knew where they were from, so that i could revise... if they are characters from a previous story, that is.
