Fantastic! You have a gift for combining things and creating something very easy to read :)

you are a clever one :)
where it really extra shines to me:
"sea/ shell saver"
"dear john letters"
"every woman who chose to rule over a man"

delicious. I can feel the light being thrown of her scales.

"Her hair is like a set of snakes." Medusa, naturally.

"Jet black eyes." Hmm, she seems like a woman I'd want to get to know better.

"Every woman who chose to rule over a man." I like that you alluded to the 'ancient' belief that men believe that a woman's main perogative is to 'control' them.

"Sirens sound when you speak her name." Good ending. I like that it could either mean 'warning sounds' or 'Sirens, the nymphs.'

so pretty.

and she sends them
dear john letters, signed from ursula,
from medusa and persephone, every
woman who chose to rule over a man

I love your work.

I like how you reference Medusa toward the middle. As soon as I read the second line about the snakes, I was like “MEDUSA!” and it made me feel on the level that you later referenced it.

I think this is an interest piece, you went for the full on description of this women, which can sometimes be tricky but I think for the most part you handled it well. It did make me want to know more about this creature, other then her looks though. But I enjoyed all of your descriptions.

Much love,
Juliet.
