this was written well, more than well, and it was smooth and easy to read. plus, i loved the ending. she could've died! wow,wow...but the last sentence didn't make sense:

"though how you’d that is beyond me.” you'd doesn't make sense, maybe by mistake?

anyway, it's really good!
