Ms. Poe 2009-11-08 . chapter 11Whoa. Holy Lord. Exciting. :D
I like it. I love it. I want to marry this one, too. Or do you think Guardian will be upset that I'm cheating on it?
Okay, that just sounded totally wrong. My mind is just not working right at the moment. I need food. And I can smell dinner, too, which isn't really helping my hunger. My God, I haven't a clue what it is, but it smells GOOD.
And there's really no reason I should be sitting here going on about this instead of actually EATING. So, yeah, good chapter, update soon ... and now I'm off to eat dinner. ;)

Ms. Poe 2009-11-01 . chapter 10I went and read that nasty review now, and let me tell you, I HATE people like that. I mean, it just makes me so angry when people go and insult other awesome stories like yours just because THEY can't write that well, which is obviously this girl's/guy's problem. (Okay, so maybe I'm not ALWAYS a calm person; I do have a bit of a quick temper, but it usually fizzles out pretty quickly ... although things like this do have the tendency to keep it going for a while). Ugh.
Okay, but on the story ...
I didn't think the chapter was bad at all. In fact, I thought it was quite good; your stories always are. :D
Oh, and I'm glad you got the flower/plant meanings up there now. Secret love - I KNEW that. I so knew that. I guess I just ... forgot. I'm still working on memorizing those things ... |
HardCritic 2009-10-30 . chapter 2 If I had a dime for every time a white person claimed to have Native American ancestry, I'd be rich. If I had a dime for every time somebody made a character with a Mary Sue-ish name, I'd be even richer. Yeah, that's all I have to say about this. |
Ms. Poe 2009-10-30 . chapter 9Okay, I'm not going to look at the flower meaning. Gardenia, I know this one, I KNOW it ...
Oh, fine, I'll look. Wait - WHERE IS IT? :o
Um, now, I should probably finish reading the actual chapter ... Why am I getting the feeling that Fiyero and Dawnie are going to end up together at some point? Now, wait, I really ought to finish reading it before I really get going here; it's probably not a good thing that I'm about to start rambling when I'm still only about a fourth of the way into the chapter ...
HA! I WAS RIGHT! That is so funny that I was commenting about that RIGHT before I read that part. :D
Hehe, I like Eli's reaction. Now, this is kind of strange, writing the review as I read ... But I'm finished now, and I must go before my mom starts getting really mad that I'm not helping her with dinner yet - so, goodbye, update soon, and have a good Halloween. ;)

Ms. Poe 2009-10-26 . chapter 8Hehe, reading this one to "Du Hast" by Rammstein. It's kind of a weird song, but I like it. :D
Um, but the actual chapter ...
Okay, I have to admit, I was a little lost at first; it's been so long since you updated that I kind of forgot what was going on. But I looked back at the last chapter and then remembered, so it's all good now. ;)
And, um, yes, didn't particularly need to know that ...
But, anyway - lovely, lovely chapter. I like that you take so much time to develop relationships between friends and stuff, not just couples like so many other romance writers - and you do such a good job at it, too. Update as soon as you can, PLEASE. :)

fairies and snapple 2009-10-11 . chapter 7I really like this. First off, I totally love Dawnie. She's charming and adorable and I just want to hug her because she seems like a child but also quite strong. Then I also like that it's not happening to Eli, but Clara, because I love things where the protagonist isn't the center of the plot. |
Ms. Poe 2009-10-10 . chapter 7Wow. Well, that was fast. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting it all to come out so soon - but it's good. Somehow, even though it's sooner than I'd expected, it doesn't feel rushed.
Great job. I might leave a longer review, but as it is only eleven o'clock in the morning (early for me on the weekend; I am NOT an early bird), I really don't have the brain capacity for that yet. What I need is some nice My Chemical Romance to wake me up ... and yet today I listened to absolutely nothing as I read this. I kind of need my iPod for that, and to have my iPod, I kind of need to know where it is. Urgh, where did that thing get off to now?
Huh, this is turning out to be a pretty long review, anyway, isn't it? Because I'm rambling AGAIN. Sorry 'bout that ...
Well, anyway. Update soon, please. ;]

Ms. Poe 2009-10-07 . chapter 6Oh, fairy rings, fairy rings, fairy rings!
Yeah, I just kind of have this obsession with Celtic mythology and all those beautifully creepy old fairy legends. I especially like the thing about the fairy rings (and it's nice that somebody else I know actually knows what they ARE, because when I pointed out a little ring of mushrooms to a couple of my friends once and said it was a fairy ring, they all just kind of gave me this "WTF?" look and didn't even bother asking what that was supposed to mean).
And I like the old man, too. You've got another seriously great cast of characters in this one.
I also must say that this story went quite well with Mayday Parade, which somehow makes me like both better (I only have three songs from "Anywhere But Here" now, but even though I know most of the hardcore fans don't like it very much, I do, a lot - though of course "Jamie All Over" will always hold a special place in my heart, since it was the first Mayday song I ever heard ... )
Eh, this is getting to be another long one, isn't it? Jeez, it's already going crazy.
Ah, well, I'm going to be called down for tea soon, anyway.
Update soon :)

 Ms. Poe 2009-10-07 . chapter 5Yay. :D
About the Internet connection and the updates, I mean, not the jellyfish or the dead crab (at least that explains it now; I'd kind of guessed it was something like that) ...
Oh, oh, oh, I DO like him (Galen, I mean). Even though he's kind of a jerk ... I don't know, I just can't help it. There's just something about your characters that I always seem to like, even when I'm not really SUPPOSED to like them.
Oh, and I love the new title, too. ;) Now, onto the next chapter and my new Mayday Parade songs (if you were wondering, I read this one to "Hit the Road Jack" by Renee Olstead - see, I told you I listen to more than just rock - and "Jars" by Chevelle) ... |
remember and forget 2009-10-06 . chapter 1This story sounds really exciting and interesting.:) Please excuse my lame review, I'm a fanfiction person, making a transpose over to fictionpress. Okay so anyway...awesome:):) |
Ms. Poe 2009-10-03 . chapter 4Have I mentioned yet how much I just love it that you're writing about fairies? ;D Don't worry about it being confusing at first; books about fairies, I've learned, are kind of supposed to be that way at the beginning (in fact, my first book about fairies was so confusing for the first several chapters that even I had little idea what was going - which is why I'm rewriting it now, but trust me, yours is way better). Just adds to the whole air of mystery and magic, you know? That's why I love fairies just about as much as, if not more than, vampires.
And I am so tired today that for a second when I read "This is my Nirvana", I was like, "But I thought you just said you were listening to My Chemical Romance!"
And then I realized, "Oh, wait, she meant that LITERALLY, not as in the BAND Nirvana ... "
You see, this is what comes from listening to WAY too much grunge ...
Well, anyway. I REALLY like Dawnie (you are an absolute genius with characters) ... but now I think I must go since this stupid thing is freaking out on me again ...
Happy writing ;)

Ms. Poe 2009-09-30 . chapter 3Aw, so cute. I like this one. :D I like Dawnie - such a cute name . . . - and I'm liking Eli more and more, too. Great job. ;)
Well, I'm off to watch Coraline now (true, I think it's kind of a kid's movie, but, hey, it's Halloween - I can watch all the kid's horror movies I want!), so adios and update soon. :)

Raguelle 2009-09-29 . chapter 1Interesting so far! Write more! Yay for writing about things we absolutely know NOTHING about! ;D |
Spurlunk 2009-09-27 . chapter 2that bit where six people entered the room was very twilight-y. Besides that the rest seemed well done. |
Ms. Poe 2009-09-27 . chapter 2LOL, I like Eli, and Fiyero, and somehow I think I even like the faerie dude (I'm assuming he's a faerie, or something) so far, even though you haven't even given us so much as a name yet. At least, I think I WILL like him. Hm, do I see a love triangle coming here ... ?
I pretty much like the story overall, actually. Very nice. A little confusing so far, but that's usually kind of hard to avoid in the first couple chapters.
And this time, if you were wondering, I was first listening to "Princes of the Universe" by Queen, then "Rainbow in the Dark" by ... Dio, is it? Hm, not really sure ... And then it was "Re-education (Through Labor)" by Rise Against. That last one seemed to fit quite well ...
Oh, and I REALLY like that theme for chapter titles. I've just got this thing about chapter-title themes (myself, I pretty much always either use themes or just don't use actual titles at all). You seem to be really good at coming up with them. ;)
Update soon? :D
