My favorite lines...I simply loved that detail. :)
The ending was very saddening, and unexpected. I was picturing a little girl daydreaming the entire time...not a mental patient. That said, I still enjoyed it.

This is wonderful! I particularly love the second stanza but the whole piece is just great.

I like this a lot, but "I paint the roses bright red as the red queen" doesn't flow well. Maybe use a synonym for red instead? Or refer to her as the "queen" instead of the "red queen".
