this is honest, raw, and vivid.

i loved reading it.

this is a fantastic piece of literature. you're smart, i can tell by the subjects you tackled in this poem.

"kids tell lies to waste time while adults sit back and/laugh at things they don't understand"

my favorite part is:

"...tried digging our toes into the ground...but the dirt was made from centuries"

"Tried digging our toes into the ground to spread our roots." Wow. What a brilliant and creative idea. :)

"So we sold ourselves to the Devil." Powerful 'turning point' in the poem.

"It's not this place." I don't know what it is about this line that attracted me, but I like it nonetheless.

"How the hell do I get home?" Excellent ending. :)

This is beautiful, just genius. Wouldn't change a single thing- I LOVE the first two stanzas... "with faces like ghosts... the dirt was made from centuries"- gorgeous. :]
