I love how it sounds like an actual high school student with the small slang and behaivor ("...for that stupid math test") ("I'm so fusterated I can almost cuss)...but how poetic it is at the end, like a high schooler's dream.

My favorite lines are "Around you I’m burning up, But without you I’m shivering." and "When the war is lost you make it seem like I’ve won." They're really big differences, but united in such a fitting way :) I also like in the beginning where you described how the crush made the character feel from hugging, to his legs going weak (Great transmission!)
