Knowing Brendan, I'm pretty sure that's not exactly what he meant.
It's not that he doesn't appretiate art, I know he deffinately does appretiate art.
Him and I have had this conversation before.
All he, most likely, meant was that art doesn't have much of a use beyond looking pretty and being entertaining. It doesn't have practical use like a lawnmower, or a computer.
He enjoys art, he rally does.
But that's all he would have meant.
But you might ask him just to see. But I do remember talking to him about this a long time ago.

And it was ONE fucking incident. ONE. In which I didn't even come CLOSE to insulting you. I put, "kayti and i have been talking about..." THEN came the spiel on the educational system and how IT pisses me off.

And I don't see how that really came out as an insult to you. I know I was being an overall douchebag, but not directly towards anyone except the stupid government.
