Crazy imagery. You almost want Lily to drop dead, just so she can be with Selene, and release herself from the desert. But you don't want her to abandon Coyote :/ I have no idea how the hell Lily got into the desert, and how Selene died, or how she met a lethargic Coyote that was way to tired to eat her. But I liked it :]
