I love it! I actually was feeling close to tears at the end. You should be very proud of yourself - Stockholm Syndrome is really hard to spin into true romance (I've tried) and you did so very well. Kudos :)

At first I was a little disappointed because I wanted more, but a couple of seconds later I came to my senses and realised that that was the PERFECT ending to this story! This is *definitely* one of my favorites. xD

Wootness! Awesome update! I was so excited when I saw the email from FP about your story. Definitely not disappointed with this at all.

I myself have a character that fell in love with his captor, but I never thought to write such a scenario from the kidnapper's point of view. It was a brilliant idea and you wrote it remarkably well. It's definitely got a dark twist to it, but is very romantic, so you accomplished your goal.

One thing, though, Damon's friend, did Gabriel ever meet him?

i thought there was something funny about the big gap, but you had said there would be longer periods between each chapters so i assumed it was just the natural progression. applause around the house for the missing chapter.

I think it's interesting that you chose to explore Damon's point of view instead of Gabriel's. Can't say I fully understand what's going on in his head, but that doesn't mean he isn't cool. xD

I have to ask though, is this a twist on Stockholm Syndrome? If it is, it's done brilliantly. Much better than what I could ever write. Makes me jealous. xD

Wow, that's kinda...offending, er something Damion makes himself his world then just drops him, the ring and card though were awsome, so Damion's forgivin. This is great!

ok, so I'm pretty sure this is a story where Gabriel identifies with his kidnapper, the Stockholems syndrom or whatever it's called, right? It's kinda dark, but not bad, I like it.

Nice! I'm glad you posted this chapter as it's one of my favorites! Gabriel is so painfully cute and Damon's getting sexy in warped kind of way; that bath scene at the end was... guh! Snuffy likes. ;)

I liked that scene betwee Damon and Simon too, it was so eerie to see Damon socialising in a normal environment and with a normal person. I especially liked the amiguous line that Simon said at the end of that scene; it makes me wonder if his previous relatonships were ordinary or whether they involved other young men being brainwashed in the basement. Very creepy but also very cool.
