samestpueromanus 2009-11-05 . chapter 1
I love it! The poem has a child-like simplicity about with phrases like “with a child like skip.” and “frolicking along a path”. You really captured the inexplicable beauty of an every day weed and the symbolism in the act of spreading the seeds. The poem isn’t ambiguous or melodramatic, which nature poetry can often be. My favorite line is “Infinitely more beautiful than it’s grassy counterparts”.
