TinuvielDork 2009-11-04 . chapter 2Well, I'm certainly interested! I enjoyed the first two chapters, and I'm glad I clicked over to read this. I'm liking Sam so far, and I love the feel of the time - futuristic technology, but I was getting a more old social feel of things. (I'm a bit of a sucker for that!) Can't wait to see more of this-

Alathea 2009-11-02 . chapter 1I'm not usually one for sci-fi stories, but when I clicked on this one, I found that I couldn't stop reading, and so here I am, reviewing.
The first section had me riveted all ready: who was the body lying dead before Sam? Why did he kill him? Was it to do with his mysterious invention?
The second section sucked me in even more. Here, Sam was not acting like a blood-thirsty killer, more like a normal everyday twenty-one year old who was destined to fall in love with his outspoken friend, Melanie. It was good that you didn't push them together this early on and that you left room for doubts and tension.
Surpisingly these two contrasting sections worked well together, the second to alleviate the tension from the first. I'm interested to see where you take this story.
Excellent work. |
