Nice plot. I like the Xu brothers. I wish them success in getting revenge for their father. :P

Some concrit...From a technical point of view I found the first chp interesting but hardly revealing the true potential of this plot. If you had added more foreshadowing of the two Xus eventual conflict with the treacherous minster, eg, starting the fic with an intro of the villain's hypocrisy/ country in turmoil thanks to the weakness of the Emperor. Or even an exciting prologue or flashback.

Anyways, nice one, I'm looking forward to the next chp! ^^
