The rhyming sounded good, but what I like most is the subject matter. The poem portrays God as a loving, protective being, not as a vengeful lunatic hell-bent on annihilating all sinners. More religious people need to think like you. It's very short, but that makes it good. The only thing I would work on is your grammar, the capitalization in particular. Keep it up.
