As much as I really liked the one-shot...part of me is a little lost...

Sometimes the writing slips in to the present and then goes back to the past...

The title really drew me in! You included McGill! So many memories...

But the plot was too convenient...I think it would have worked better if it was longer...I would have liked to read a bit more about the characters.

Overall I think it was a nice story. :)
