This is really interesting so far! I'm loving June! Is she Asian? Cao is an Asian last name, after all. If she's Asian, are you Asian too? I'm Asian. Haha, anyway, enough about Asianness... this is a very good chapter, although it was kind of long. :P. It could possibly use a few grammar adjustments, however, if you want someone to help you with editing. I'm here if you want me to but it's not an absolute necessity. This is a very good story so far. I love it. I really like the kind of stories where, oh am I ever going to find "the right guy" love. So good job. Alyssa is the sister right. I jsut wanted to make sure.

Dylan seems like a nice guy but I wish they'd just be friends and she'd start to care about Ryan - I can hope at least.
Can't wait for another chapter, loved this one and it really seems like David has something he's not telling Alyssa - like he doesn't really want a wedding, or doesn't want to go through with one.

No, I wish she wasn't doing this just to get back at Ryan, I have a feeling that he likes her.
I was a little confused as to what he was doing in a literature class about Jane Austin when he's studying Economics but you explained that - we just have a different uni system in Australia.
