It's so cheesy, and yet it's actually a decent oneshot ...

You've got some problems with wording where you use words that kinda-sorta make sense or sound like words that will make sense. And quite a few typos.

A great job glossing over the sex ... it would have killed it if you were to go into gory details.

Overall, good characterization! I would love to see more of their history as friends, though. If you were to turn this into a story, starting with a bunch of drabble-y parts from their childhood, all put together into one prologue you'd have a very perfect beginning.
