I love the story, even if it is only one chapter up at the moment. I love the idea of the mocked protagonist returning for revenge.

I didn't read the original, so I'm not sure what is going to happen.

I assume that in the next chapeters you will elaborate and broaden the idea of the enstrangement of her father and her close relationship with her mother.

It is also interesting that you skipped the whole transformation event. It's a different move, but I think it will work to your advantage in making this story unique.
