This is a very deep, poignant poem with a strong theme that becomes apparently without being oversimplified.

As for line 5, the wording ("how am I supposed to...?") is awkward and could be stated in a more powerful way. Perhaps "How can I..."

The final line ties up the theme of the piece nicely; excellent lyric poem!
