I liked them individually, but I don't think the tie-in really works, considering that you, the main character, seem to be the victim in all of the stories, but in the tie in, your friend is the victim of the first story and your sister of the second. You end up being killed by an ax, but of course, it isn't your brother who is killing you, is it? And I don't feel that the last story is tied in in the end. So, like I said, I really enjoyed the stories separately, but I feel that they don't tie in well.
