Wow I'm loving this. As Milani got to know Luc more I put myself in her place and found myself feeling the same way she does. His line "Or were you too busy admiring me?" irritated me just a bit and had me thinking that he wasn't some arrogant fool but he definitely does seem confident. And very forward. But I like.

I didn't either! I'm loving this so far. Great descriptions and liked the short catty exchange between Milani and Claudia. Hearing that she stole her fiance makes me definitely want to know the story behind all this.

my two favorite quotes by the alluring mr. luc. i obviously know that luc isn't to be trusted because of how the story began, but i can't help but be swept along a bit with poor little milani. i'm sure i would've melted into a puddle if a dashing man (is he french?) was showing me this kind of attention! i can't wait to see the transformation that milani goes under! it should definitely be fun. :)

also, i love this: Nadine, never trust a man just because he is gorgeous and articulate. isn't that wonderful advice for every woman in the world?
