SingViolence 4/29/10 . chapter 1You describe things beautifully. I love your choice of words, thank you for writing! |
Brenda Agaro 3/4/10 . chapter 1Beautiful imagery and intriguing. My favorite line was about the watchmen pigeonholed - cleverly written. |
Isca 2/26/10 . chapter 1"The ocher afterglow." I like this image - it's so gentle. "Hungry watchmen pigeonholed behind the guise." Excellent writing here. I like your use of the words "pigeonholed" and "guise." "And Johanna is a vision of something silent." Beautiful. This is one of the best lines from the poem - it's quite striking. "The rosary beads." There's something subtly profound about this line. I like it. Like Johanna has a touch of "God" in her. "How it fights for the sight of her." Wow. I'm very impressed by this line; the tone is absolutely perfect. |
