I really love this piece.

You say all you have to say

right in those few lines.

The beginning was familiar

but, the ending definately

made it unique.

I like the lines "devoid of adornment" and "ego hungry mind refuses to become enlightened to the true self" the best. The first because it's elegant & the latter because it's quite Freudian. :)

short, but it shows humanity as we know it. last few lines are my favourite.

A poignant poem. It's so true. I like the "twistedly-rooted tree" part.
