I like the idea here. The comparisons are really great and it's an interesting take on not believing in fairy tales anymore. Not at all as cliche as I thought it would be from the first sentence. The only thing (other than those editing things) is the transition to flipping through the book. It seemed to come out of nowhere. Other than that well done.
