Interesting story. I'm not sure if you were going to go somewhere with this story, or what exactly was going on, but it was a neat little piece. So yeah, we've got a metric tonne of zombie stories about, but the point is usually to try to find something to make yours stand out a little more. The bus bit was sort of neat, so props for that.
