This story is so rich in detail and history. I get a wonderful sense of the world this is taking place in.

The part about Serina's sister dying was heartwrenching. I hope she can make amends with her mother.

No magic for women? I hope Serina turns that around. GIRL POWER! Oh man, I want to smack Master Vin! I know he's being all traditional and stuff but what a pig. Honestly.
