There's something special about short poems. They leave people yearning for more, and this poem is fulfilling yet at the same time, unsatisfying, like the perfect kiss. "As I see him with another/ Gaining the will to move on" is so relate-able to me, and I'm sure to many other people. Beautiful!

I found that to be sad and happy at the same time. I liked the shortness of the poem; I have a REALLY short attention span. In the first line, though, I think it should either say, "My heartbeat's like a drum" or "My heart beats like a drum." I especially like the third line: "Rain is my tears." I like how you related it to the seed/ flower thing. I can tell you worked hard on this. Wonderful job! :)

It was beautifully written, but maybe it's just my taste that's holding me back from enjoying the whole thing. I do like the theme of becoming a stronger plant and blossoming through strife and pain. Good job!

Hm. I'm kind of on the fence with this poem. I like the message and the vivid imagery, but the poem seems to lack a sense of rhythm, and some of it is slightly cliche.

But apart from that, I loved it. Good job!
