The first stanza I didn't like so much because I wasn't sure if the innocence was what the other person didn't possess or if those were too separate thoughts.

I did like the rest of it though. Very powerful images, especially the second line of the second stanza. The internal rhyme with "strangled" and "mangled" was great and I like how you explained would would happen to each of you. Nice ending too.
