This whole peom is chilling and very relatable. I loved every word of it.

"Only came here to bury the bodies of the people we thought we'd left behind." The image is chilling. The angst is palpable. What a great line!

The story you tell is so nostalgic, I could really imagine these two looking down as they walk, that awkward hands in pockets moments. Toward the center of the piece the narration changes to a more adult voice, as in looking back, talking about hisothets eyes, and burying parts of yourself with the bones. Nicely done, keep up the good work.
