Isca 5/24/10 . chapter 4I like the vivid imagery in this: "I am made of glass." I kept picturing a room full of water basins full of frozen water (the speaker can't feel 'alive' anymore, but she can still see her reflection). "One more stone will break me." I like the pain here; it's raw and real. "My heart drums." A line for a Pagan soul. :) "Let it all go." Wise words, my friend. |
Isca 5/22/10 . chapter 2"Drift down." I like this 'd' alliteration; it adds a melancholic tone to the read, falling leaves imagery. You know I'm a sucker for anything autumnal. "A banshee cry." I know this is supposed to be frightening, but it was also somehow empowering, like the cry of an Amazon that both scares and wows you. The cinnamon sticks imagery was relatable, yet the soft tone made it very vulnerable and moving. [Courtesy of The Review Game thread from The Enlightened Mind Cafe] |

Devrich 5/21/10 . chapter 1Hmm I'm not too familiar with this type of poetry, I'm usually on the other side of the fence. Simple, yet concise paints an easy picture on the emotions your trying to portray. Good job, hope you keep writing. |
