Wow. This is so wonderful I might have to die. Really, your imagery is beautiful and there's something awfully Shawshank-Redemption-esque about the picture it creates for me. I love the simplicity of Conrad's character and how the prison system has degenerate himself into this shadow who is somehow so much more beautiful that the people outside. You write his want for rain marvellously and all in all this is marvellous. Good job, it's lovely :)
