TK Anez 7/13/10 . chapter 1Love this! I go to school in New York City, taking creative writing classes at NYU, so I basically run into people like this every day lol. Maybe you could check out my story, Ishiki. I'd love to hear your opinion on it :) |
fwompp 6/19/10 . chapter 1Hm, thanks for the review by the way. &since you asked oh-so-nicely, Ill give you a review. I thought the message was good, &relatable. I'm one for formatting, so it would've been nice to see a bit more length and phrasing. But indeed it was good, :D |
KryssiHollie 6/13/10 . chapter 1Hehehe. So true! Because if everyone is trying to be different, then they're all actually the same because they're trying to be different which is the same.. lol. :3 Short. Simple. Good. Kryssi Hollie |
Tralfamadore 6/13/10 . chapter 1I can really relate to this- I also went through a period on my life where I was obsessed with the notion of not being the same as everyone else. Fortunately, I grew out of THAT one. What I suggest is that you put in more concrete imagery. The poem's message is, again, a lovely one, but your poem could do with more imagery. Perhaps you could paint a picture with your words about what the similar people who want to be different look like, or demonstrate how they all blend in together with, again, a solid image of some sort. Disregard me if you intentionally left it imageless. I can see how that would work for the poem's message. |
ShadowFane 6/12/10 . chapter 1Wow. How true! And no one bothers to notice. I like it. Simple yet powerful. :) SF |
