Cute story. Is this based on real life? As for the writing, you have good spelling and grammar. As a whole the story was rather abrupt and brief. I would have liked a bit more detail.

Hm... I thought the narrator was a girl at first but after the girl called the narrator Nathan I had no trouble believing it was a male narrator. The narrator is very matter-of-fact which, I think, is a very believable guy voice. Anyway it was cute (in a good way) and well done especially considering it was a "rush job".
