I like this, the theme is over all very nice. However, don't forget basic grammar. Capitalize your I's, capitals at the beginning of sentences, and you might want to break up a few of your sentences so that they're not run-ons.

But hey, aside from the grammar, this story was a pleasant read for me. :3 Bravo!
