acronyms 3/23/12 . chapter 4its beautiful... |
steffxnie 1/13/12 . chapter 4'September was crying under the whispering moon' What a start to this piece. The whole thing is so lyrical, you've made September so poetic. Your have a sophisticated style of writing. I love your descriptions. Haven't really looked into the previous pieces yet but I'm going to favorite this collection. :) |
Punslinger 6/13/11 . chapter 4It's nice to see that you are continuing this series. Calling September the "Crying Month" seems so apt, as I am always sad to see summer fading away. But you are in Australia, aren't you? So I guess the change of seasons wouldn't mean the same to you. Still, it's a good poem, and "pulling the blanket higher" gives the ending a special touch. |
letyoursoultakeflight 6/13/11 . chapter 4You know what? I've worked out what your poetry is to me. 'Remembered feelings'. Does that makes sense? I read your words and I can 'feel' how I felt because you write exactly that... 'daylight wander over whispering fields' I see the wind lightly tugging at wheatfields just as dusk arrives and I know exactly how I feel and the scent in the air and the temperature against my skin and everything else. Your my memory writer :) |
simpleplan13 3/18/11 . chapter 1Thanks for your review a little bit ago! I like your word choices in the piece. They were really great. Some of the varying line lengths I didn't really like because they threw off the flow I think. I also the phrase "still frozen tears" that was a great image. t-t-t-ouch 10/28/10 . chapter 3I am struck by how...perfect this is. It is literally, probably my favorite poem ever and I've read a lot of poetry. I particularly like the second stanza. It seems longer than it is, like a whole day passing within the length of a few words. Just. Wow. |
t-t-t-ouch 10/28/10 . chapter 1There are so many beautiful and emotive phrases in this I can't even begin to describe what I like about it. It gives me this wonderful dark picture in my head. Absolutely wonderful. |
Jankliciouz 9/19/10 . chapter 1I love this poem of yours. |
Insanity Streak 8/22/10 . chapter 3I really admire this collection. As always your poetry is sublime. I particularly love the first and second stanza; the imagery within it is so ethereal. "My dream of piano keys in a softly fallen morning, Flowed over my bones and renewed pale strength." I feel as if I have enterd a dream. :D |
