I know it's been two years since you've updated and I just started your story, so I don't have much to say, BUT I just wanted to point out that calling an Asian person "Oriental" is actually really offensive. The word is used to describe things, not people. I think the correct term you're looking for is API, American Pacific Islander ("South Asian" denotes India and what Americans call the Middle East), or you could just specify what kind of Asian ethnicity he is. Thanks! And I don't know about your later chapters, but breaking up your paragraphs makes it a lot easier for readers. A large block of text is slightly intimidating and sometimes leads to skipping altogether. And now I'm off to read some more! :) |
