This was really good. As a tip on style I would not have your entire entry bold and italics. That makes it harder to read.

The story was brilliant though. You descriptions of the poker players made me feel like I was right there in the hazy saloon with all of those seedy men and that angel. It was almost like a myth was being told or maybe a fable. It carried over into the western setting really well. I feel like id like to see all of thed things that went down leading up to that scene.

At least I want more of this narrator. He is poetic and dangerous like a gruffer Morgan Freeman.
