Reviews for The Beauty In Failure

very wise poem. i like it. i'm a closet perfectionist so accepting my mistakes is something i really need to do. i tell myself that it's all right to be imperfect and embrace flaws and i believe it. but i always catch myself trying to do everything just so.

anyway, great poem. not perfect ;) but great none the less.

Hello, William, dear. :)

You were right! I do like this poem quite a bit. :P I think it's very simplistic, but it has a deep meaning and message. :) I really liked the metaphor at the beginning, comparing your soul to paper, waiting to be written on. It's also sort of a symbol as you as a writer, and why you enjoy writing so much. :D

I think that this poem could mean a lot of things to a lot of different people, which is a great thing. Very relatable. :P

I especially loved the last line, "For victory has never been achieved through perfection; It has always been a product of miscalculations." How true! It made me just sit back and smile a bit, thinking how true and clever it was for you to write that. :)

My week has been very stressful, so this poem lifted me up a bit, and gave me a little bit of hope to keep trying and that I'm doing the right thing. :D

Lovely job, as usual! I need to get to writing something! :D

Avid. :)

I like the soul being in blank, everybody needs a starting.

Bravo! You have expressed an important truth with poetic brevity and clarity. If I had started learning from my mistakes much sooner, I'm sure I would have had many more successes.
