I'm impressed, not only are Sam and Reese adorable but this is properly scary. The image of the Jersey Devil right above them in the forest had me shaking.

hmm, i'm definetly going to look up how the jersey devil looks, sounds kind of weird.. my dislike for gwen has gotten worse, she's just so...uurgh! gotta ask though, were you fighting with a friend when you wrote this? cause it seems so real, lol. i'm glad she seems to be nicer to ewan, though i have to admit i hoped the jd would kill her .; the story is great but you should get it checked, there are some grammar mistakes.

Sam and Reese really are cute. I like the way there is no "I'm bigger than thou so I'm the one protecting you", they are hugging and calming each other. Sweet ) (to the point I can't tell if I prefer one or the other, what's really rare. It's Reese AND Sam, the item x) )

Because I'm a little pussy who can't watch Shaun of the dead alone in my house, the end of the chapter (and the dead coyote) give me the creeps. Okey, I know there is no wood near me, nor even coyotes in my country (unless in zoo, maybe) but...still !

Bref, really well done )
