Very sweet, I liked it. Especially since this is what I've been doing a lot lately. College next year..

Anyway... on to other things.

She couldn't really be licking marshmallows off her face, not exactly possible.

[an absent smile crept up to her mouth]

You need different adjective instead of absent. Absent is define as not existing, so if she has an absent smile, then she's not really smiling at all.

Other than those two things, it was really well done.
