Wow, okay, should've reviewed this a century or two ago, but whoops. Life got in the way. WHAT MAKES ME SAD THOUGH WAS THAT THIS WAS AN AWESOME CHAPTER AND I TOOK MY SWEET TIME REVIEWING IT DUMB CAS!

The first bit with the psychopomps and the exposition was good, I think, because it actually placed some ground rules on how the world itself and the memories of people are affected. It's sad that they have to sort people by 'importance', but...I think it's less importance and more 'impact.' The more of an impact people have, the more who know them, etc. It's about impact and the knowledge people have of a person. That doesn't necessarily make them important, but he does mean that they've had an effect on the world in some way. For example, I don't think certain actors are all that important, but the impact they've had is enormous.

Anyway, shipping the King and Azreika because I can. And ghhg I feel bad for Suzume, he went to all that effort to request help and the King just...doesn't...but I suppose by sending Azreika along maybe he does in a subtle way.

And look, it's the Crossroads gang! I almost called them the Roadtrip gang. No idea way. Maybe I will call them the Roadtrip gang. And sgsdhg Shania's comment about Altair. Fuck the fancy letter thing. But yeah, I laughed at that, and on her calling out AA on the fact that everything is a bit BS, at least from her perspective. And I think that's a fair comment for someone in her situation. It would seem like that.

Go stones is such an interesting idea for a weapon (and I really do think Queen V is cool as hell). I love Asuka though, hope we get to see more of our favourite traitor cat And Roshalna. I did suspect her in the end...Still, feel sorry for poor Zayle. Speared in the chest by the army leader he trusted...did he trust her in the end? I dunno...but still...it's sad...and also full of ouchies.

And yeah, reading all this stuff with the Royals, I really would love to see more stuff with them in the future...

ANYWAY, time to revive this chapter! The chapter that decided to kick me square in the ass right out of the tournament arc and headfirst into a bloody war! Ahahaha, there's a lot to say, I wonder if I could keep it brief? I dunno. -shrugs-

(Also, I will read EM, but just let me get the next few weeks or so out of the way. When school is over, then I might be able to read it...)

But where to begin? I suppose, the beginning! And as per usual, you start with food porn and I end up in tears because all that food will never be real, and never be mine, and even if it were my tiny ass stomach wouldn't be able to hold it all. -punches self in the gut-

Itsuki and Aran being trolls to each other amuses me. Or maybe they're not exactly being trolls, but they're definitely dancing around each other in an entertaining manner. Nice boys, nice. But kdfnhgkfsdjd THAT IS OMINOUS. Doom hangs over Lo? That ain't good.

And what an epic battle it was. Two of some of the strongest fighters the group has to offer, duking it out. Emi vs Hazuki, -whistles-. And I'd love to heard the music designated for this battle. I'm sure it's awesome as all hell get out. Rock sympthonyheavy metaltechnoorchestravoices harmonising/chanting along with the music? sdjdghsfdkgjfdgkjdf GIVE ME GIVE ME GIVE ME -shot-.

But like I said, the fight was pretty damn awesome, I did cringe at some moments...though to be fair I cringe quite regularly in Namahage fight sequences.

Love the constant dream argument as well. I'll be honest when I say that Al really was kind of the odd one out of Hazuki's opponents. Sanmaru, Hikaru, Emi, they've all got such strong dreams, and Al...not so much. But that's irrelevant.

And it's kind of sweet how Emi thinks of all her friends before attacking. The fact that everyone knows about Tori -okay, maybe it's just her and a few others- is a bit odd to me, because while he did show up for a bit, I was unaware that everyone knew of him. -shrugs- Not that I mind. XD

And I love your attack names, okay?

AND WOAH, ALRIGHT, THE FACT ATSURO ACTUALLY WITHDREW HAZUKI GOT ME. I was totally putting my money on Hazuki winning, and I did not see her getting withdrawn. So, alright, you suckerpunched me with that one Kira. Came out of the left field it did. I was like 'HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT DIDN'T SEE THAT ONE HEADING FOR ME.'
And then it hit me right in the teeth. Ow.
I would've actually placed money on Hazuki winning, so I'm glad I didn't actually make a bet with someone. XD

The gems are interesting items, nice to look at but also very useful, I bet. Ahahaha, Naota is just a magnet for danger and accidents, so I'm glad Emi thought to give it to him. Because damn, he is going to need it. Take care of yourself Naota dear, and thank Emi for her kindness.

THAT LITTLE NAOTA AND YAMICHI MOMENT WAS THE CUTEST FUCKING THING EVER AND I JUST WANT TO GATHER THEM BOTH UP IN A BIG HUG AND LOVE THEM.

I swear that last part with the beginning of all the fighting and with the royals is just amazingly chaotic in a fantastic way. I love it. It is totally fitting for the beginning of a war. Also, the contrast between a war and tournament is awesome. Tournaments are organised fighting, it can be stopped at will. War...not so much. There's still organisation but it's...so very different.

AND I SWEAR THE PART WITH KADOKU AT THE END IS JUST FUCKING AWESOME. You think he's gonna fight Haseo and then WOOSH, he totally blocks Takuto. Like I said, can't wait until they duke it out. The one who wants Naota dead, and the one who feigned the same desire to protect him.

The Kadoku and Leighton mini-fight was fun! Leighton's powers are pretty cool, and I like that Kadoku actually can't control them. A sense making power limitator, in the case that Leighton's powers actually prevent it.
And I think Leighton was clever, wagering questions and knowledge. I mean, that is one of the few things Kadoku cares about, collecting information.
It's too bad for her that to get Kadoku to fight she actually had to wager something that he'd fight properly for.
And oh, Kitsune, you're playing with my shipping feels. Seriously, that cashier and then Cristian. And then Kadoku...going right off his phoenix. -snickers-
The idea of Kadoku falling and then sliding across ice just...-snickers some more-.
But ahahaha, it's a friendly match between friends and Kadoku goes to pull off a Break Awakening. You would, Kadoku, you would.
And yes, I am addressing all the Kadoku parts of the chapter first. Best to get him out the way. XD

Ahaha, poor nameless cashier. We'll probably never see you again, but you were cute and sweet and I shipped you with Kadoku, for what that's worth.

And be fair Leighton, you've left Kadoku with two very big questions, both which will probably have some great important in the future. Of course he's going to struggle to pick...I'd like to know what both the answers though...

And hm, there is something going on. Maybe they picked up on Kadoku doing strange stuff with Edward and Hazuki behind the scenes. And that ain't good. Whatever is happening...it's...dangerous. And I swear, that small scene with Milo actually was, and still is pretty tense. You can see that something is going on, and shit...just...tension everywhere.
And sdkghjfsdghdfkj Leighton worrying about Kadoku. It's sad that she's with Stray and Kadoku's doing weird shit behind the scenes, because they seem like sort of...odd bros?
More then one way to have a friendship, I guess. If it could even be called that.

ANYWAY, gliding back through the other sections of the chapter. There isn't too much to say except that the fight scenes are cool. I feel sorry for Naota, once again being haunted by Yuu, and then having Itsuki just fiddling with his phone and being unsettling.
Itsuki and his phone are like the couple you never want to see together because they could probably blow up the planet. gfdhgjdhgj Itsuki/Phone, best cargo ship.

And I like how Hikaru notices the differences in Hazuki's behaviour, and though I figured Hikaru would lose in the end...she still fought pretty damn well against Hazuki.

And sdkjhfsadjhgjdk GEEZ ARON, now it's your turn to troll Itsuki. Aron vs Itsuki, now that's what I want to see. kgjhjhgkjfdgk but Aron boosting Lo's powers like that...hm...
But in the end Lo lost, and Emi won. STILL, both girls were pretty damn kickass.
