Trent never ceases to amaze me. He just might be my favorite character now.

Personally, the plot twist in this chapter had very little impact on me.
It was nice to see that the arch angels are still relevant, and apparently you can't get rid of them.
Just to clarify, this church started this war to force their religion on everyone else whether they like it or not. Just like a crusade. And the rest of the world is fighting back in response to this form of tyranny. and speaking of tyranny, this pontiff has his citizens and army believing that the reversal is fighting them simply because of their religion when that is not the case.
When this war ends, this church is going to need some new leadership.

Nick and Seth's conversation was my favorite part. We get to know how some of the characters are really feeling, and how much they've changed since the beginning of this adventure.

Nice portrayal of the face your inner demons theme.
And for a moment, I thought Nick was speaking to his past self, before the amnesia. I guess not.

even though nick doesn't care about getting his memories back. will we find out was caused his amnesia?

This was the most emotional chapter I've read so far.
I must have misread the previous chapter, because I thought Finn was rescued from Marcus.
Trent was right, Nick is a slave to his emotions.

I'm pretty sure Kim just became the most powerful of the seven.
